...I don't know what the general state of the MUCK is, in terms of TPs and such. I know there are things that are 'eventually going to happen' because they are planned, as well as things that 'might happen' just because of RP in general.
I've five characters total on the MUCK, two of which are following plots as we speak, but all are completely open to anyone wanting to join in, suggestions, other ideas, that sort of thing.
I suppose the main thing holding anyone back is the fact that folks are busy these days and unable to connect as often. I know who I am RPing with, but I'm posting this incase anyone wishes to throw their ideas in there or join in or even for the Pride Leaders to take up a thread in their own plots.
If any of these plotlines/characters grab your interested and you want RP, by all means, let me know! I want more RP and more drama and more excitement and all the good stuff that comes with RP! If you have a suggestion to throw in, I'm more than open to those as well.
Kingojeo (Guardian/Watcher) and Kinyalitu (Frost-Touched) - Wild Dogs
Kingojeo has come from a pack that was utterly destroyed (by hyenas or lions, I'm leaving that part open); he was head guard and beta among the pack and, unfortunately, could not prevent the decimation of his entire family. He was able to escape with his youngest daughter, Kinyalitu, and has travelled to Amara. Pawsore and weary, he's simply trying to find a home...RP has come to a halt in Amara far as I know and so far their storyline has followed suit.
Siangamika (One-Night-Stand) - Barbary Lion
Son of the Dark Lord, Ronan, and arguably the Evil-est lionesses out there, Unzumi, Siangamika is probably the only Barbary on the MUCK that can claim both parents were Barbaries (I could be wrong here though). He's spent most of his life in solitude, hated his father until Ronan's untimely death, and was even visited by his dead-mother (during the ghost-TP) and given a path in life. He had joined Weupe and her family in Mbaamwezi briefly and was adopted by a lioness cub during this time. It was at this time that Seth attacked his sister, Eris, and left her blinded; Siangamika set out to find and kill Seth, but failed in this. He returned to find Mbaamwezi occupied by Zira and her pride and eventually found Weupe in Kivuli, along with his adopted daughter. Now, Siangamika has found himself as a father...
Raiyan (The-Sun's-Warrior) - Mercenary/Mbaamwezi Lion
He's an exotic sort, born to nomadic warrior-tribes of the Great Desert in the north. His entire life has been dedicated to the warrior-god of his people and he has been taught since he could walk to follow the warrior's code and path. Thrust from his tribe - his brother committed a terrible crime against another tribe and, to uphold the honor of his family, Raiyan left, to pay the debt of his spineless brother. He is honorable to a fault and has sworn himself to Seth; Seth saved his life, once upon a time, and therefore Raiyan owes Seth a life-debt - he is Seth's to command until that debt can be repaid. He followed Seth when Zira took over Mbaamwezi and has become part of the pride. Yet he does not fit in with the blood thirsty and sometimes crazed lions that occupy Mbaamwezi. He took to guarding the border to avoid the violent pride members and it was there he met Princess Khamisa of Kivuli. For a time, he was merely content to challenge her views, but over time, he found himself enamored with the princess.
This has become a serious problem; his loyalty is to Seth and Mbaamwezi, as that is where Seth currently claims. Mbaamwezi and Kivuli are strict enemies and war hovers at the edges of their prides. Raiyan's already a marked murderer in Kivuli's eyes, having participated in the killing of Ronan and having attacked Kiet, the King of Kivuli. Raiyan doesn't want war at all, for reasons of his own, but that has been furthered by the feelings he hides for Khamisa. His recent travel into Kivuli, to find out what they might have planned, has only complicated things further - not only has he found that Khamisa might, perhaps, hold fond feelings for him, but he's found certain information that would be valuable to Mbaamwezi regarding Kivuli's current position and that knowledge would certainly put Kivuli - and therefore Khamisa - in grave danger. Now he must decide what is more important: his honor and loyalty, or preventing war for the sake of one? Would what he's learned even prevent war if it remained untold, or would it make matters worse?
Raiyan is on his way to Mbaamwezi once again and when he gets there, he's going to find out Seth is dead...where does this leave him, with a life-debt unpaid?
Obviously this is the storyline I've been following the most on the MUCK right now (because the players in it tend to be online more than others) and while it is full of drama, it could certainly use more players if anyone wishes to jump in.
Hyacinthe (and his mother Anasztaizia) - Gypsies
Anasztaizia has been exiled from her pride for indescretions (hint hint) and has long been a rogue. Her vocabulary is certainly not from the local prides (see the log of the hyena attack) and anyone could mark that she - and her son- are certainly not from anywhere close. She's taken refuge in Tyne with her cub, Hyacinthe, and is trying to establish herself as part of the pride. Her original intention was only for a short time, to rest and allow Hyacinthe to grow a bit, but that seems to be changing as she takes a more serious interest in the pride goings-on. Hyacinthe himself is used to roving; he's done so since he was born due to his mother's restlessness. Never part of any group of cubs, he's only learned the basics of being a young one - in Tyne, he's met Almasi, who has taught him a few things already regarding playing. He's trying hard to fit in, perhaps a bit too hard, and has found himself already in trouble more than once. These two are gypsies and likely to remain that way; Hyacinthe has shown a flare for showing-off and performance, which will only continue in the future.
