.. So. I figured I'd take a shot in the dark here, and see if there's any artists out there that're uber-bored and need some subject material. ;D I've been dying for some drawings of two of my main Mucking characters -- Fuadi from Sunrise, and another character I have Elsemuck that's rather active. Both are lions, so they're nothing too uncommon. Unfortunately, my own artistic skills are beyond sucky. I can barely handle stick figures. x.x; .. So I don't really know what I can offer in return. I'm pretty good with words, so I could write some character descriptions or something along those lines in exchange for the artwork. Or anything else that somebody can come up with. So! If anyone's interested, just let me know! Thanks muchly! ;D

Hellz yeah, anyone is welcome to try it! ;D
And I guess it would help if I posted the character descriptions, so everybody knows what they look like, huh? Duh.
---------------------------------------
Here's Fuadi: A coat the color of sunset is locked around his frame, laced with underscores of a rich copper. A toasted almond hue paints his muzzle and flows around his eyes; it also runs upon his underbelly and halfway up each leg, from his paws to his knees. Finally, the paler tone has found a hold upon the lower half of his tail, where it then blends into the metallic red of the rest of his pelt. There is one mark upon him that stands out distinctly: a thick line of pure ebon which trails down his left hind leg. The stripe begins at the curve of his flank, tracing down the muscle of the limb until it comes to a halt at his ankle. Mane is full and lush, though moderately unruly, with thick strands spiking up here and there -- giving him a slightly roguish look. It is colored the deepest of reds, in truth almost ebon, cast with puzzling glints of crimson and russet. The tuft of fur upon the end of his tail appropriately matches. Build is of one that is well-prepared for whatever life has to offer. Muscles are heavy and many-layered, yet he still retains a distinct look of agility as well as one of undeniable power. Chest is broad and thick, nearly barrel-like, and shoulders are wide and square. As evidence of his prowess, a few scars litter his body, the most notable one being a single slash on the right side of his ribcage. Eyes are a lush green -- not an emerald, but the vibrant and nearly glowing color of healthy jungle plants, even daring to contain a tinge of blue.
-------------------------------------
And here's the adolescent desc of the other character, a lion named Mzohari. I'd love the picture to be done of him as an adult! So the only things that will change from THIS desc are that he'll be distinctly muscular (he's undergoing a lot of physical training) when he's mature; and he'll have a full-grown mane that's almost Barbary-ish, in that it's very lush and covers more of his body than the norm: A teenager, already of a respectable size. He is merely a few inches shorter than a fully grown male of his species, and shows distinct promise of growing even taller still. A healthy layer of muscle underscores his figure -- though, truth be told, it has filling out to do. Currently, he is lanky, his bones growing too fast for his musculature to keep up with. But judging by his current brawn, which is already greater than typical for his age, he will become quite heavily-laden with fighting flesh. Majority of his pelt is colored a pale mahogany, a pleasant mixture of rich brown and hearty red -- save that it's not terribly dark, as if he'd been left out in the sun too long, the hue somewhat faded. And in worthy contrast, segments of unblemished white are found: wrapping his muzzle, painting his belly, surrounding his eyes, and tipping the digits of all four paws. As a final touch, a dorsal stripe has been painted along the curve of his spine, a blackened brown in tone. His mane is growing in rapidly. It has already covered all of his head, leaving only his face and ears free; and it continues down his neck, covering a deepening chest and lining the front blades of his shoulders. It's darkened into an honest ebon, though not as morbidly black as some, the color softer and more appealing to the eyes. As is appropriate, the tuft at the end of his tail matches. His eyes are a clear, pristine green -- not a hazel, and not an emerald. A distinctly light, lime green. And so, after all the pieces are put together, he is shaping into quite the charismatic lion. ----------------------------- .. YAY! <3

I'll give'em a go... though, as long as you don't mind they might be just in line art.. my coloring skillz are subpar.

I'd take a shot at it too. I think you're going to wind up with a LOT of bored artists tossing pictures at you. XD Maybe Mzohari, because I LOVE drawing big floofy manes. It's fun! A chore to ink, but fun.

I might give one of them a try.. though it's very likely that it'd be more of a portrait than a full-body piccu.

Whoo! I <3 bored artists! Drawing-inept boobs like me need 'em! XD I might give one of them a try.. though it's very likely that it'd be more of a portrait than a full-body piccu. Whatever works! .. And hey, I thought of something I could do in return for all you guys. How 'bout stick-figure-lions of your characters? Eh? Eh-eh-eh? ;D

I dunno if you noticed, Subi.. but you got yourself signed up for the next art trade thing.. XD (See Sunrise Sponsors Artists!).
And yeah, I'll give one of 'em a go, as I said. >] Perhaps Fuadi, since Miz' is gonna work on the other.

Subi, have a look here and see if this seems remotely Mzohari-ish: www.deviantart.com/view/34673622/ ...I know he's pretty skinny-looking; I'm trying to fix that without having to redraw the whole thing. :o But beyond that--and the fact that I'm really, really bad at muscle definition, and yes I forgot to block in the other eye, hush XD--I want to know if it could work before I do anything else with it. n.n Because it would be really bad if I inked it and coloured it and it turns out I got it ALL WRONG. XD

XD The only thing -- other than the skinnyness (sp?) that you already pointed out, XD -- is that my brain pictures his muzzle shorter. Other than that, it's perfecto! The mane looks great! He's a floofer! ;D Isn't it weird how, even tho' I can't draw, I can still SEE my characters in my head? o.O

Woot! Revisions done. www.deviantart.com/view/34677222/ Am inking it now, so it'll be done...um...at some point sooner or later. XD Hopefully sooner. Just gotta figure out how I'm going to colour it. [Edit: Also, it isn't strange at all. XD I didn't go around picturing my characters as vague blobs before I learned how to draw rough approximations of them--and my mental images are usually at least somewhat different from the pictures that I draw, anyway. Go fig.]

Isn't it weird how, even tho' I can't draw, I can still SEE my characters in my head? o.O No, not weird. XD I think that has more to do with your imagination.. not with your art ability. I can picture my characters EXACTLY how I want in my head.. but even now, they still rarely come out the exact way I picture them. XD
