So Ill post Nakias story here and maybe we can MUCK the story that follows! without further ado here is Nakias new beginning
As he climbed the steep hillside Nakia's mind continually drifted between three things. One was food, which he hadnt had for two days and was direly needed. Two was water which he had the previous afternoon but, from the long walk to find the cave in the Tyne mountains, he could definitely use again. The third and last of his worries was rest, which he could not remember having.
His pride had been murdered by a pack of hyenas, he remembered, and for reasons unknown to him he was kept alive. Perhaps they thought they could train him as a bodyguard, maybe not all he knew was that he had finally escaped and, from the direction of a passing lioness that was hunting in the area, he was now heading toward a cave in the side of a mountain in Tyne teritory.
Nakia hauled his body onto a ridge and was happier than he could every remember being. He saw the mouth of the cave. As he crawled inside he found a pool of water near the opening and he drank. Nakia found himself slipping into a stupor that led to sleep. As he awoke he finally took in his surroundings. The celings were low and sharp, the walls were bare, the floor was rocky but even so it felt more like home than he had ever felt before.
Nakia got up slowly and stretched his legs. He walked back over to the pool and looked at his reflection and was surprisesed at a few things. First instead of the face of a cub he saw an adolescent face staring back at him. He also saw that he was not as dirty as he thought he would be from his long trek. His shoulder that had been cut by a hyena had been licked clean although he had never cleaned it. Fourthly his eyes, which he never took the time to look at before, were a bright green. Nakia's snowy white mane whipped around in the breeze and he looked up. For the first time he noticed something in the corner of the room. As he got closer he realized it was a dead gazelle that smelled faintly of the huntress that told him how to find the cave. Looking around the cave he sow no one so he ate. He had never had a more satisfying or delicious meal and he fell asleep again.
A hot breeze blew against his nose, which was odd because it was fairly cool ouside. He opened one eye and found another eye staring back at him and a nose blowing hot air against his face both of which belonged to a beautiful lioness...
