Using references helps considerably when learning how to draw something new. Look at photographs, watch footage--in this case, there is plenty of video featuring lions--and if you're lucky enough to live near a zoo, it might also help to go and observe the animals in person. Of course, that can get rather expensive, but if you have the opportunity to go anyway, spending a bit of time watching how lions move and fit together in real life would probably help a lot. That said, I'm a little confused as to why you posted in somebody else's art thread? Anyone is more than welcome to make one, as you can see, and we tend to keep them separate. Mainly because people make these things in an attempt to get feedback on their own work, and it seems a little disrespectful to ignore the art that has already been posted to someone else's thread in favour of showcasing your own. However, I'm almost always willing to offer feedback on art. I do tend to look at it with a critical eye, though. I'm no expert, but I do constantly try to improve my own work, and I greatly enjoy exchanging critiques with other artists.

Didn't you say it was an artdump?... Last time I saw one it was a free for all posting page for all artists to get crit on their stuff and in turn give others crit... I guess the one I saw before had the wrong idea so i'll delete my post sorry I really wasn't trying to be rude... Your stuff is really good though!!! I like the connection between real lions and a cartoon. you really have made a good style for yourself. If you are making a new lion anytime soon I would love to see it with more defined fur (The person with the eye tutorial also has a rockin fur tutorial!!!) cause that could add even more realism ;D. otherwise I cant add much crit what with your artistry being on different whole galaxy of levels than mine. I do think that you might want to, in the future, spend a little bit more time on the background. Also most of your lion pics have a very serious expression on their face and I wanna see them having a good time!!! like I said before your art kills mine so you can go ahead and ignore all my crit

It was intended to be an artdump of my work, yes.
Please don't delete your posts, it makes threads appear rather confusing.
