**NOTE** this is set AFTER Waset's death, in case there's confusion. Since it might take awhile though we wanted to just get started, since to my knowledge Waset is still alive?
Setting: Somewhere. By caves? Involved: Kamau, Lord of Tyne Onaedo, Lord of Tyne Sundali, Missing Huntress of Tyne NPCs Mkumu, Dubai, Jugo? Others?
Summary: The Tyne Lords set off to find the missing yin to their yang.
It was early morning when the two Lords set off from Tyne, but the sooner they could set off the better, really. They only had a rough idea of how long the trip would take, and they were antsy to get going already.
So they walked. And walked. And continued walking. This was a lot of walking, especially for two lions who'd never traveled very far out of their Kingdom (the furtherest Kamau had gone was Kivuli), but they were two very determined lions as well. The trip managed to go alright otherwise, with very little talking and a lot of brooding anxiety on Kamau's part.
By the time they arrived at where they thought they should be, it was late afternoon and Kamau was tired. His heart was beating fast, both from the journey and from nervousness, and were he back in Tyne he would've gone to lay down in a river to cool off for awhile. But they weren't in Tyne; they were standing before a hill with a few caves in it, some of which were plenty large enough to make for nice lion dens. And sure enough, the place reeked of Mkumu. It may have been a short while since Kamau had smelled it, but he'd never forget.
This time around, the brothers were larger and had a bit more experience. They were adults now, even if they were still on the younger side of adult-hood, and Kamau still had scars with his last encounter with Mkumu's small pride. But this time, he was ready. This time, he was starting out with all the desperation in the world. And this time? He was down. right. pissed.
Glancing over at his brother, Kamau paused and stood there, tense, for a brief pause of a moment. "Ona'," he said quietly, his voice a lot softer than the typical gruff one reserved for normal lions. "If anything happens, just... just make sure Sunny is alright. Please?" Because even with the time they spent away, he hadn't lost hope that their friend was still alive and in a condition to get back to Tyne and the safety waiting there. And rather than wait for a reply, he began to slink quietly forward once more, crouching down a little as he walked and trying to circle around so that he didn't hit the cave mouths head on. For all he knew they'd already been spotted, but until he knew that for sure he had no intention of just barging in with teeth bared.

Onaedo had followed along at his brother's side the whole way, he noticed once they reach the point of 'no return' from there lands and paused long enough to look back at where the homes lies, wondering if he'd ever see it again. With a shake of his head he cleared the thoughts from his mind and once more started moving forward.
Unlike his brother Ona still carries a limp at he walks, after the fight with Cyrus its no surprize that there was more perment damange then just scaring, which he has plenty of after the two fights. The golden lord is deahtly quiet during the trip into the forgotten lands as the pair follow after the old scents of the three lions, and one unwhilling lioness.
He pauses next to Kamau as they catch sight of the caves, a harsh wind blowing across the area which causes him to tense up slightly, and his ears lower. The thick scent of the other lions catch his attach and his eyes narrow, they are here.. somewhere.
A glance is offered to Kamau at the comment, and he smirks faintly. "You better hope your the one going back with her.." Because if he goes back without Kamau Eli and there mother will kill him for sure. He moves forward, lowering into a crouch as he moves to the right to get them both some space incase someone comes charging out of a cave or what not. So it starts.. This is what Ona thinks to himself, he only hopes that he and his brother come out on top.

The lands would make for decent pride lands. There seems to be enough water and prey animals around to support a small pride. The lands aren't large - nothing to the extent of Kivuli, or even Tyne - but they're nice. Any lion would be proud to have such nice territory to call his own. And Mkumu is. The only thing bothering the muscular barbary NOW was his distinct lack of a real pride. He had Jugo and Dubai, obviously, and a Queen in Sundali... but thus far no other lioness, and - most annoyingly - no cubs.
Mkumu paces around one of the larger caves in obvious annoyance; heavy footfalls echoing off the rocky walls, tail lashing, ears pinned back amongst the mess of his dark mane. No cubs.. all because that lioness he's gone and chosen as his Queen has been less than receptive to his advances. Just earlier in the morning he made another attempt.. but got no closer than any of his previous ones. And Sunny managed to score a hit on the barbary, as well; not much of one, but the thin slice down his nose sure is satisfying to the white lioness.
Sundali herself is further back in the cavern, keeping close to the wall to remain out of swatting range from her so-called King. Like Kamau and Onaedo, Sunny has fully blossomed into adulthood. She's tall for a lioness - always has been - though she is built more gracefully than some, lacking the muscular bulk of Waset or the evenly toned fitness of Msasi. Though all she has gained from adulthood is a bit more to her height and fullness to her frame, there are obvious changes in her appearance. Several fresh scars, some as recent as that very morning, can be found scattered across her body. A couple across her face, some on her shoulders, a few more on her flanks. Mkumu obviously hasn't taken her rejection well (or her failed escape attempts).
Despite her treatment at the paws of the King, Sunny hasn't given up hope that she'll either get away.. or that her friends will come for her. When Mkumu stops his pacing long enough to glance in her direction, the lioness' lips peel back to reveal her teeth in a snarl."Just try it, dungface. I /dare/ you."
For a split second, Mkumu makes as if to move across the cavern to Sundali, but stops himself. Instead, he turns and snarls in turn at the other two members of the pride, Dubai and Jugo, who are lounging near the entrance.
"JUGO! Go drag that zebra carcass up here, you lazy oaf!" The barbary strides purposefully over to the two lounging males, swinging a heavy paw at Jugo's head.
Grumbling to himself, Jugo pushes himself quickly to his paws and moves out of reach of Mkumu. "Grouchy fleabag... get it yourself." But it's muttered under his breath and, after exchanging a quick glance with Dubai, he heads out and down a small path to where he knows the zebra that was the previous nights meal was left.
"Why do I always gotta be the one he bosses around?" Jugo complains to himself. "Ever since that fight wit' them kids and Dubai lost 'is eye and Queenie won't make with the cub makin' and he vents everythin' on me! I really outta...."
Jugo trails off as he nears the mostly gutted carcass, squinting in the direction of Onaedo and Kamau. Is that grass moving? Zebra? No.. zebra aren't that short. Hyenas? Gah. He knew that clan to the north was going to be a problem. Didn't he TELL Mkumu they'd be a problem? Planting himself firmly next the the carcass, Jugo glares out at the rippling grass.
"SHOW YOURSELVES, YOU STINKY-BREATHED MAGGOTS!"

Kamau paused when he saw the lion glancing their way, but it wasn't enough. His body was sleek, for a lion, but he was still too heavy to be very sneaky, not to mention his mane stood out like a sore paw.
Trying to stay perfectly still, he gritted his teeth and quietly hissed to his brother, "Let's make this swift, before all the others come running. You take the right. Three, two..." And that's all the warning even his brother got, because after that Kamau leaped into a full run to circle into Jugo's left. Kamau was never one for words, really, and it just made sense to him that if they could take down one of the lions before the other two got there, the ratios were a lot more even.
If Kamau's plan worked, the two brothers should hit the other lion at the same time. But unfortunately it was difficult to train for the real thing, so there was really no telling how this particular maneuver would end up. For now, Kamau only worried about his long legs pounding the ground and bringing him swiftly to Target #1. He'd just let instinct take over, when it came to that.

Onaedo pauses as he hears another, his maw twitches and he halts as if trying to blend in with the grasses, which he does to a degree. A ear flicks towards his brother and he only nods, no need for words after all. Once Kamau moves to the left he goes to the right, paws carrying him quickly and almost quietly until he has to crash through some bushes.
As he moves through the bushes he keeps going making a beeline right towards the lion that is now in the middle of the two brothers. Seems like they will be the first to land the blows in this battle.. And he likes the odds in that..

Jugo blinks. Then blinks again. Surprise stuns him for a half second. But only for that half a second. Realizing that Kamau and Onaedo are lions, not hyenas and thus a bigger threat, Jugo shouts out in alarm.
"DUBAI! BOSS! WE'VE GOT COMP---!!!"
And that's all he has time for, for then Kamau and Onaedo are upon him. With a roar, Jugo is buffeted by the two Tyne Lords, though he manages to remain on his paws. Knowing the odds are against him, Jugo snarls and slashes out wildly at anything that comes within his view, hoping that Dubai and Mkumu come quickly to his aid.

Kamau doesn't intend to let Jugo make much noise. He leaps onto the other lion's back and lowers his head, snarling as he tries to sink his teeth into the back of the lion's neck. And with one forepaw, he tries to wrap it around Jugo's neck and lay a heavy-pawed swipe right to the guy's jugular. He fumbles it a little, since it is very difficult to practice tearing a lion's throat out, but here is where that 'desperation' comes in. He does NOT want to be caught grappling with this lion when Mkumu shows up, and even though they've botched the sneak attack he at least hopes to be ready for the cavalry when they arrive.
In Jugo's flailing Kamau manages to take a hit to his hip, but luckily for him it isn't terribly deep and the pain of it only causes him to try and bite down even harder.

Onaedo doesn't wait any time. With Kamau attacking Jugo's back he goes in to attack his hindquarters to try and bring the older lion down. A simple hiss escapes him as claws swipe across his hind leg and his jaws snap out to bite down upon one of Jugo's legs to try and bite down into his hamstring.. Even if Jugo get's away he wants to make sure he doesn't go very far!
Even though his attention is mostly upon the fight before him he still keeps his ears perked to make sure the other two don't come running in and catch he and Kamau off guard.

Too late. Jugo's warning shout - short as it was - was still enough to alert Dubai, lounging near the cavern entrance, to the fact that Jugo was in trouble. Grunting, the one-eyed male heaves himself to his paws and pads a short distance outside, directing his attention down to where he knows Jugo to be.
"Boss! Jugo's in trouble!" He shouts roughly back into the cavern. "A pair of lions are attacking 'im!"
Back in the cavern, Mkumu had advanced a few steps on Sundali, preparing perhaps to give her what for and remind her - again - that as Queen it was her /duty/ to provide him an heir. And Sundali, wary of his approach, shifts back a pace or two along the wall, her ears slipping back against her skull as she prepares to inform /him/ - again - that she will not do so, using language that is not befitting of a lady (apparently Aitan's admonishing her for that once upon a time has had little effect). But before so much as a word can pass between King and Queen, Dubai's shout has interrupted and Mkumu turns and furiously stalks towards the entrance, growling.
The barbary storms out to stand alongside Dubai, glaring down at the battle between Jugo and the two intruders. But unlike his two companions, who have apparently not recognized Kamau or Onaedo (not that Jugo has much a chance to spare for recognition, mind), the color of their coats brings the memory of the day of Sundali's kidnapping right to mind. Well, bother.
"So go down and help him, you fool!" Mkumu snaps at Dubai, shoving the other male roughly. "Don't let them up here! Your Queen's life depends on it!" And, without waiting for a reaction from Dubai, Mkumu returns to the cavern, planting himself just inside the entrance.. waiting and listening, while a curious Sundali steps away from the wall behind him, her ears cupping to the distant sound of snarls and growls.
Unlike Jugo, Dubai does not seem so eager to fight. The one-eyed male stares after Mkumu a moment, before slowly making his way down to the three fighting males. He hides behind a large rock - as much as he can, anyway, as it's not quite large enough to hide his entire bulk - watching the fight for a moment. Recognition finally dawns across his features - slowly, but it does - as Dubai watches Onaedo. That's the kid who injured his eye! An odd feeling of foreboding settles into the pit of Dubai's stomach; he isn't liking this. But, duty-bound as he is to protect his new Queen - and rather not wanting to face Mkumu's wrath - Dubai launches himself into the fight at right at Kamau.
Despite the odds against him, Jugo handles his two attackers quite well. Or, well enough to not get himself killed right away. Kamau's teeth sink into the back of his neck, though not deep enough to put him out of the fight right then and there. He roars in pain as Onaedo's teeth sink into his leg - that hurts more than the bite to the back of his neck - but the sound is choked at the end as Kamau's paw catches him across the throat. Kamau doesn't quite succeed at ripping Jugo's throat out - having a nice, plush mane helps to take out some of the sting - although he does begin to bleed as claws manage to nick the tender tissue. For his part, Jugo focuses on Onaedo, turning and twisting in attempt to bite at whatever part of Ona' is the closest. He can't do much about Kamau on his back.. hopefully Dubai is taking care of that.

Well, that didn't go as planned. Slitting throats is harder than the young lord thought it'd be! As Jugo twists Kamau slips off the lion's back a little. Between that and the sudden addition of getting hit full-on by another male he falls the rest of the way off, though on his way to the ground he unsheathes his claws and tries digging them as hard as he can into Jugo's flesh.
But it's only a split second, and then he hits the ground hard and snarls in anger and pain. Flailing out with both paws he aims to plant them both on his new attacker's chest and kicks out hard with his back legs, trying to throw the lion off so he can try and get the upper paw once more. In the meantime he doesn't really have much time to check on how Onaedo is faring - though he can only hope it's better than him - and he can't focus on figuring out of Mkumu is in sight yet either. Even though, really? Mkumu is the only one he really cares about causing pain to here. Poor Jugo and Dubai are just roadblocks they have to take care of first. Very large roadblocks, but roadblocks nonetheless.

Onaedo bites down as hard as he can upon Jugo's leg, going to do as much damage as he can while he can do it. He shifts about doing his best to avoid the attacks, which is easier when Kamau is on the other lion's back. Though something is different, he hears movement and looks up in time to see Dubai leaping forward.
It takes mere moments for Kamau to get knocked off, and as he lets go of Jugo to try and warn his brother, Jugo nails him against his already scared up shoulder. A grunt escapes him and he wheels about to try and move away before the other can get a better grip upon him. His right forepaw lifting and lashes out at Jugo's face, or anywhere else he can get at him with his claws.

Jugo is apparently unaware of the parting slashes that Kamau deal to him, adrenaline coursing through his system takes the sting out of all but the deepest wounds. With Dubai arriving to help, Jugo focuses on Onaedo. He steps forward, one muscled foreleg reaching out to Onaedo, though the younger male is too quick for him and Jugo's attack is at nothing but the air in front of the Tyne Lord. Another step forward to bring him within reaching distance again and he's knocked upside the head by Onaedo's paw, his claws ripping down the side of Jugo's face.
Jugo staggers back a pace or two as blood wells from the fresh wounds. He shakes his head briefly, sending a few droplets of blood flying, before he decides to resort to brute strength to try to take Ona' down. He charges Onaedo, clearly intending to bowl the other male over and gain the upper hand by keeping Onaedo off his paws.
Dubai, meanwhile, grapples with Kamau until forced back a few steps by the younger male kicking at him. He doesn't immediately jump back to attack Kamau, his one good eye sparing Jugo and Onaedo a quick glance before he refocuses on Kamau. Growling, Dubai waits for Kamau to get back to his paws before rocking back onto his hindlegs, allowing him to slash out at Kamau with both forepaws.

Kamau flips onto his feet as soon as the other lion is off of him and gets back into position, baring his slightly-bloody teeth. But right away, he takes that slash to his face and a few shallow red lines spring up. With a pained growl he launches himself right back at the male, aiming his forepaws at the lion's face and that remaining eye of his. At least now he's on his feet though, and he can dodge more easily if need be.
He manages to get a side-glimpse of his brother's fight as well, though all he can really tell is that Onaedo isn't in too much trouble yet from his perspective. Not that he expects anything less from HIS brother.

Onaedo grins slightly as he sees that he caught Jugo across his face, that's right! Take that and that!! Though as the older lion comes charging towards him he growls out, head lowering and ears back as he waits a few moments longer before quickly moving to the right to escape the rampaging Jugo.
Once Jugo is a few feet past him he turns quickly and lungs at Jugo's back trying to get up on him to a degree much like Kamau did in the first attack. His jaws snap down at the lions back while his claws go to dig into his sides.

Annoyed that Onaedo managed to avoid him, Jugo thinks quickly. He comes to a sudden halt at about the same time as Onaedo leaps at him and, trying to ignore the claws that rake down his sides, kicks out with both hind legs.. like a bucking bronco.. only instead of his legs ending in solid hooves, they end with sharply clawed paws, aimed back at Onaedo.
Dubai snarls as one of Kamau's paws just barely gets him, the claws catching briefly on his chin. He can recall fighting the pair of brothers before, but apparently they've been training. He's quite sure he and Jugo could have chased them off by now otherwise. Great. Dubai chooses the moment to dart forward, aiming to rush in and bite at Kamau's shoulder, but one of Kamau's swings happens to be timed just right and it catches Dubai right on the side of the head. Stars and flashes of light pop across his field of vision as Dubai staggers back a step or two, momentarily stunned.
