"You will hold your tongue, whelp, especially to a lioness." The Barbary advances on the adolescent, head held slightly low and expression anything but welcoming. He's about to throw his weight around - and it's considerable weight indeed - and force Ausikifa out of Kivuli however he needs to. Ausi's reaction, however, stills whatever intent Siangamika had; laughter is not exactly the right thing. Aggression, sure, fear, definitely...but laughter? Is he mad? And then the young lion speaks, revealing what is so apparently amusing.
Siangamika freezes in midstep, comprehension slow to dawn. Shock registers on his features thereafter, his lifted paw slowly drawing downward. Swallowing slowly, licking his lips that seem to have gone dry, he stares at Ausikifa a moment, wide-eyes glaring quickly. "Seth," he begins, pausing, and beginning again, "...Seth is dead?" His eyes narrow; would Ausikifa lie about such a thing? He stares at the adolescent, looking for something, anything, to indicate that he is indeed lying. But no, Siangamika can see it; it's no lie. What happens now? In a state of shock, Sianga stares at the ground for a moment, letting the thought sink in.
No Seth. No revenge. No chance at retaliation, retribution. That was supposed to be his prize, his goal, his target. Ripped away, as simple as that. Should it matter? Shouldn't he be thrilled that this life-long enemy is dead? He should - a saner creature could - he should be rejoicing here and now, celebrating the death of a monster. But Siangamika only feels cold, building fury at having this stolen from him.
There is remembrance, of a time with mist, of a calming, soothing voice, suddenly in Siangamika; something that steels his mind, sets it solidly before the haze can return. He lifts his eyes, strangely calm, glaring at Ausikifa again. "You've come to a strange place if you're seeking revenge, cub. Why did you flee to Kivuli?" he asks, tone cold but utterly calm. "Did you think to seek aid, allies, and that they'd not know who you were, or was it merely convenient, fleeing cowardly to any refuge safer than that of the hornet's nest?"

OOC: I apologize in advance. Ausi'... got very long winded... which means I got long winded. Yeah. I have a lot to say. So, sorry!
Ausikifa's ears tilt forward at Weupe's reaction, his eyes flitting down to where her spit landed in the dirt before another chuckle -- this one dry -- slips from him. "I believe I stole nothing from you, little lioness," he drawls, "In fact, your sorry hide was far from gone before my father and I ever arrived." He returns her sneer with a twisting grin and the corner of his muzzle wrinkling just so. He's had a lot of lionesses spurn his advances; it's been quite interesting, really, but this one is proving the most fun. The adolescent has been threatened with claws in the face, sure, that's only natural, but losing his precious bits... that was a new one.
Of course, fun with the lady just had to be hijacked by that d'amned Barbary, didn't it?
"I will hold nothing to a lioness who acts like that one," comes Ausikifa's sardonic reply, full of thick milk and honey that would make anyone gag. "Perhaps you should get around to teaching that little prize of yours to calm her temper." His cold eyes flit briefly to Weupe again, wanting to see her reaction, but they don't linger there for long. The breeze picks up and clouds his features under his dark mane as he watches the anger withdraw back into the depths of Siangamika's consciousness. The boy's light muzzle twitches; he's seen that many times before.
At Siangamika's question, Ausikifa tilts his head slightly and grows quiet, his eyes staring almost lifelessly at the Barbary and his lioness in front of him. For all the world, he looks like a schizophrenic that's fallen somewhere in between a listless torpor and complete mania. "Consider," he begins, voice lowering to just above a growl as he picks up a clawed paw and lazily points it toward the Mbaamwezi border, "on one side a land ruled by a blood thirsty, false and self-appointed nut case Queen. A lioness that would kill any enemy, any ally in... her... way." As his voice slows, he turns his paw over to emphasize his last words, and then proceeds to draw his paw across his body to point at the opposite border. "On the other side, a land filled with lions who have little power, little interest, and whose pride infrastructure is falling apart around the edges; being chipped away inside that great mountain of theirs." He stops again, chuckles dryly, then continues with a shrug of his shoulders.
"I search for nothing in these lands, son of Ronan -- one side of the border is equally as good, or bad, as the other -- but it seems that you are missing the larger picture. Let me show you... My father brought me to that cesspit when I was very, very young and hired his services as a mercenary; a fact that you know quite well, I'd imagine. His word became mine, as is the way of things, and there is little a child can do in the face of such things. I had to bide my time until I had enough seasons to renounce his bond to that filthy Queen, or until Seth died. Guess which happened first? A natural death would have been one thing, but an a'ssa'ssination is quite another matter. I called her rule into question, took a nice chunk out of her flesh, and left. Despite what you might think I'm not foolish enough to take Zira on while she's surrounded by her ilk. You should be fortunate," he churrs, directing a nod at Siangamika, "that we did meet. I know precious information about the lion that took your revenge from you, and," he continues, his gaze sliding across the lion's face to meet the lioness' again, "about the filth that took your home from you..."
In all honesty, he doesn't expect either to ask or demand his information; the Kivuli seem to be too goody goody and uppity for things like betrayal and revenge. But there's always a possibility. Ausikifa's eyes glisten brightly once as he rises to all fours and lifts his head to stare at the Barbary male. His muzzle parts once more, just barely, his black lips hardly moving as a harsh and dark whisper emerges, "I met your mother once." A second ticks. "And your father. I know what it is he hid from, and what your mother embraced. Perhaps it was fate that caused this chain of events..." Pause. Slowly, he rolls his shoulders, "Or perhaps it was that blackness in the pit of your heart that still calls to you... swimming in the darkness... and in blood..." The adolescent trails off, feeling the tug of his own sanity somewhere in the back of his brain. Now they both know his story; what they make of it he cannot guess, but perhaps it will buy him some time and some extra claws when necessary. He doesn't bother letting them in on some of the finer points of his plan, they probably wouldn't like the cub-killing bits, but his experience with the Mbaamwezi does have a value beyond simple insanity.

The pale lioness remains where she stands defiantly beside Siangamika, her features turning cold and stone-like. Ears remain pushed fowards intentively around the forlock of fur that drifts down between her ears into her eyes and to the side of her face. Cool blue eyes take in the settling night that has seemed to engulf the world into darkness save a few stars here and there, a darkness this adolescent seems to hold within himself as well. Gaze flickers to Sianga' and Weupe studies him quietly. And Siangamika... The news of Seth's death leaves no emotion upon the lioness, however she does wish it could have been by Sianga's claws, it was the search for that lion that made him absent from her for so long to begin with, she'd hate to believe he missed Anyu growing up for nothing.
Ausi' is given nothing but a self-satisfied smirk at him remarking upon her temper. Few would suspect her capable of such aggression, however they all have their flaws. Weupe listens carefully as the adolescent speaks and frowns gently. He knows information on the flith that took her homelands from her? So does everyone else. They're monsters. Low, cowardly, monsters. Weupe lowers her head slightly, whiskers twitching. "And what.. do /you/ know, that others don't already..." The demand for information has been given. What Ausi' didn't know was that Weupe wasn't Kivulian. She was Mbaamwezian. Revenge and Betrayal seem to run in her veins, she was just a different generation then the originals, a different make and model.
When the other begins to speak of Siangamika's parents, Weupe begins her low rummble of a growl, vaugly audible to begin with. She never knew Unzumi, but she knew Ronan. She met him once a long long time ago... As Ausikifa continues with his words of the darkness festering within Sianga's soul, the growl rises to a warning, nothing else, while she remains where she is.
The leonine in her genetic background were anything but sane individuals, anything but perfect. With the exception of her mother, Weupe cringes at the blood that was used to give her life. Her father, she knew nothing of but his cowardness in the face of his children. Her grandparents? Her grandfather was the Mbaamwezian tyrant, the claws to the murder of so many, the cause of his own parents death, the chaos of the world for a time. Her grandmother, psychotically plesant [However ironically hated Unzumi ;D], a twisted snake tounged deceptor, having attempted countless times to murder her own children because they were 'burdonsome'.
Weupe knows darkness runs in anyones hearts, but its the one who the heart belongs to that decides wether or not they let it consume them. Weupe's pale eyes shift to Sianga' slowly, pressing her muscled shoulder up to his ever so gently.

OOC Joins cause she can. XD
Sekhmet woke to find herself alone, fear gripped her gut as she quickly stood up looking around and half expected to find Zira standing over her ready to deal a death blow. As she finds nother but air and the faint chirps of a hidden bird a sigh of relief escapes her. With the fear of death gone the lioness isup on her paws and follows after Ausikifa's scent, she pads along a thin path seeing how most likely both prides would like to have her dead. Mbaa for what she did and Kivuli if they found out what she had a paw in.
The scents of others catch the lioness's attention and she lifts her head, eyes narrow a bit in thought before she starts moving that way. Ausikifa's scent came from there as well, an while she has yet to catch the scent of blood on the wind there is no telling what he could have gotten himself into.
The slender lioness pauses once the others come into her vision, her heart skips a few times as she is overjoyed to see Ausi is also but look who his with.. With a flick of her tail the once Mbaa lioness slowly starts to move forward, head lowered but ears perked while her gaze drifts from the large male to the lioness at his side. She can give a guess who the lion might be a kin to, the lioness eh, who knows. "You might want to listion to what he has to say.." The once killer offers while her head tilts to the side as she pauses a few feet behind Ausi. She's somewhat tense, an who wouldn't be after evething she an Ausi have been through lately.

OOC: Yes, I'm slow, I apologize. My mind is horrendously slow and cluttered. A low, chuffing-chuckle escapes Siangamika's jaws, "Perhaps I'll teach you something instead, and let my...'little prize' sharpen her claws on your ragged hide." He listens quietly, marking Ausikifa's evaluation of Kivuli as similar to his own; the young lion, for all he is possibly insane, speaks the truth, at least in the Barbary's point of view. As far as Siangamika is concerned, Kivuli is no place he wishes to call home, not with their peace-seeking ways and seemingly slow realizations. He doesn't interupt, finding vague interest in the background and motives in Ausikifa, the son of his enemy. His eyes narrow briefly at mention of parentage, that Ausikifa would know either...but more importantly, at the fact that the young lion even has an idea of what the Barbary contends with. He surveys the younger with a stricter gaze, scrutinizing Ausikifa in a new understanding. Perhaps Siangamika can recognize the insanity in Seth's son; he does a good job of hiding it's potential, but anyone around the young lion would probably be able to sense something was not right. That alone would, no doubt, urge any of Kivuli's guards to chase the now-rogue out of their lands as soon as possible. Such a trait would not sit well with the pacifists of this land. But not Siangamika; he'd not chase Ausikifa out - he'd kill him. But not in this case; no, they seem to share a bit too much to settle for outright slaughter. Indeed, Ausikifa seems to have - by chance or fate - met the only pair of lions in Kivuli that could see things at least partially, if not fully, his way, who's motives could not only agree to let him have peace here, but perhaps even lend that extra set of claws. There is attitude and clash here, yes, insults flung both trife and grave, but that matters little in what lingers between the unusual meeting: they've both a grudge against Mbaamwezi, something to gain by destroying them. His mind works every which way, briefly pursuing expansive possibilities in what could be gained, lost, accomplished, or destroyed by indulging this young lion, by allying with him, or by simply getting rid of him here and now. Clearly, there are more advantages to keeping him alive. He blinks back the tangle of paths before his gaze as Sekhmet appears, standing behind Ausikifa. The giant of a Barbary gives the young lioness a once-over look, "You speak as though you've some idea of it yourself. It's not something I care to discuss...now," Siangamika states languidly, his muzzle slowly following the flow of his thoughts. "But whatever has drawn us both here, be it fate, chance, or a stir of darker things, here we are, with similar motives, similar..." he lifts his muzzle, eyes narrowing to creases, pausing as he searches for the right word, "...desires." Perhaps they understand each other all too well. Though the distance between the two is not great, Siangamika steps closer still, glancing to Weupe as she nudges against him, body curling slightly toward her in some subconscious wish to keep the darkness at bay. But Ausikifa has brought it further forth, not so much reawakened as simply drawn it out, the shadowy bloodlust that haunts the Barbary. Revenge stolen, intensified by the insult of the Mbaamwezian pride, stung to action by how he feels his family has been cheated...no wonder Siangamika feels more ready to embrace this darker aspect of his soul. "You've no reason to give us any information and I've no mind for threat," Siangamika states evenly. "But perhaps we could aid each other, in more ways than one." And no doubt, they'd both benefit.

At first, the lioness' demand for information is only met with a twist of his ear, but slowly his darkened eyes trail to lock with Weupe's and meet her challenging stare with a solid one of his own. Ausikifa's open muzzle issues a breathy laughter, a frighteningly giddy chuckle that causes his shoulders to hunch briefly and he whispers through his fangs, "Quite a bit." Of course, while Weupe's demand for information is acceptable, the adolescent is much more interested in what the Barbary male makes of these strange goings-on, and so as Siangamika approaches with those heavy paw steps of his, Ausikifa's odd gaze flickers back to him.
But then there is a voice. A voice that wasn't there before, and it causes Auskifa to blink and momentarily cast his attention behind him, eyes and ears registering Sekhmet. A part of his oddity falters back into his brain when he sees her, but only manages a gentle flicker of a smile before his wariness overrides his love interest and Siangamika is studied again. He lets Sekhmet speak, curling his tail around one of her forelegs in a strange and slightly comical gesture of affection and protection all rolled up into one. And then, then the son of the Barbary Lord speaks. Excellent.
The adolescent mirrors Siangamika's laugh with another quirky one of his own, his grin curling over his teeth at the idea of letting Weupe get near him. That would be interesting, wouldn't it? Maybe even fun. Unfortunately, he doesn't get to dwell on it much longer before a long silence grows in the space between where they stand face to face, two sets of eyes boring into two distinct souls; each connected to the other in their own horrible way. For Ausikifa it wasn't so much luck or fate that brought Siangamika to him through the odd workings of the murderers of Mbaamwezi, but rather that flicker of what is hidden and the darker stirrings of the past. The lions recognize something in one another, that they are neither enemies nor allies, but a horrible mix of the two and it is that mixing that shall prove to be most beneficial.
"I do," Ausikifa replies, though at Siangamika's commanding will he says little else about his knowledge of things Mbaamwezian. He is not a leader, he is a manipulator. The prospect of such a dark and tenuous alliance causes ripples up and down the lion's sandy pelt, and as the quiet of the night continues to engulf the quartet on the boarders, Ausikifa's hopes of Mbaamwezi blood in his mouth are evolving quickly. At the Barbary's choice of words, his breathy laugh returns, "There is much I can bring to you, son of Ronan, and there is much that you can bring to me. We all," he pauses, eyes flitting to the two lionesses and back to Siangamika, "have pickings with the filth across the border, and now perhaps gathered there is the potential for those desires to be met." For a moment he pauses in thought, wondering how Sekhmet feels about.. everything. She came with him on impulse, unhappy with her place in that pride; he will keep her Mbaamwezi heritage a secret. They need not know.
"There is another lioness as well," continues the adolescent with a subtle twitch of his tail and the scraping of his claws against the sand, "Working from the inside out. She is not Mbaamwezian; if she belongs to another pride or is a simple rogue I know not. However, information can be easily obtained from her as well; she holds similar desires." Of course he's speaking of Lutalo whom he met many times in the process of crossing the Kivuli borders. He has a hunch that she's Kivulian, but has no idea of her connection with Siangamika; his half-sister. Little does he know now that Lutalo and her brother speak on the very same issue half way across the lands; little else does he know that he helped bring down their mother, Kieleaji.
What a tangled web we weave.

“I do have some knowledge of the ones across the way. Which might be useful when you want to hear it.” Though Sekhmet doesn’t want to tell them how just yet, she’s not stupid she knows the large barbary has some dealings with the ones that Zira and the Mbaamwezian killed in the past. Seems all the barbaries in the area are related one way or another. The lioness slips quiet as Ausikifa and Sangamika speak, her gaze half resting on the lioness with Siangamika watching her faintly while a faint sound of her teeth clicking upon one another escapes her as she eases down onto her haunches still behind Ausikifa, foreleg faintly leaning upon his haunch as she lets his tail stay put.
She was part of the Mbaamwezi pride only out of dumb luck, she thought she would be wanted there but found nothing but problems after they came to this place. She was in the pride but was not family to any other then word. Not that is matters as she knows Zira will be wanting to hang her disemboweled carcass from the rocks when they meet up with one another again. Sekhmet did what she did for Ausikifa, talk about a love story gone crazy. She attacked Zira and gave herself a death sentence to save Ausikifa.. WHICH he better not even forget or there’s not telling what Sek might just do to the lion, she is a killer after all an a crazy one at that.

Water blue eyes narrow dangerously as she keeps her gaze upon Seth's son. She'd rather dig her claws into the male more then anything, but Weupe remains silent. She begins to wonder if her babies are safe, if Anyu's paws are full with the three rambuctious cubs. They were getting big after all, soon that underground den would be to small, Siangamika already had trouble fitting in it.
Her thoughts are snapped back to reality as Sekhmet makes her appearance and speaks her peace. Her eyes squint to see wether or not she was one of the few gathered when Zira kicked her and her daughter out of her homelands. She can't remember however and meets her gaze evenly, however less aggressive then she does to Ausikifa. After all, she doesn't have anything against this lioness, yet.
Weupe remains silent for the first time sence the beginning of this - simply watching and listening. She leans protectively against Sianga's side, ears flattening back.
-- It's in the distance however that a pair of eyes watch more closely. Wide ebon orbs stare from the shadows, claws gripping the soil beneith her. Bangs hand down to either side of the nearly grown lioness and Xipil catches her breath. She'd been in the background searching for Weupe whom she'd befriended and was going to ask if she wanted her to go help Anyu with the babies, but something about this confrontation at the border made her stay her ground. Now, muscles tence, body pressed against the cool earth, she watches wide eyed as Weupe and Sianga' talk to a male she hadn't seen sence childhood, a male she recognize anyway. She lays in terror, watching her past show its face in the form of her older sibling, the son her father always cherished more then herself. She was scared when she first came to Kivuli from the flood, scared she'd never find her family. After everything though, she didn't want to. She wanted to hide who she was, she was ashamed, but now... Xipil remains where she is, dark eyes boring into the young males face from a distance. It's only a little later she reminds herself to breath. --

Threats, insults, offers, and evaluations; they've felt each other out, sized each other up by this point, and conclusions have been drawn, impressions made. Siangamika will have to watch his steps with Ausikifa - the boy reeks of insanity, of potentially snapping and becoming something beyond dangerous. In his long time alone, Sianga has learned to read the actions of others, to evaluate what each seemingly-small action might mean. Granted, he still gets things wrong, but he's learned enough to know. The flicker of a smile towards Sekhmet is caught, stored for later use. Perhaps she means something to the younger lion; perhaps she can be used to keep him under rein if need be. Of course, there is the possibility such a thing would not even help.
Information abounds, it seems, but only if you have the ability to grip at it, to claw for it. He didn't expect Ausikifa to simply give what he has up right here and now, though that certainly would have been convienent. The mention of another lioness, another ally and informant, merely brings a nod from the Barbary - things are shaping up sooner than Sianga would have thought they could. What would Kivuli do, if they knew that those who do not belong are shaping up to use their lands as a starting point? No doubt Sianga could find some support among theirs, too, to warrant that the Kivulian leaders hold their tongues. And if not...there are other ways. He has no desire to be a king, least of all of a pride of lesser lions as he deems Kivuli in general. He's used them this far and has no qualms about using them further. But, there are other things to deal with right now.
"So we agree to help each other in this, to bargain," Siangamika drolls. No doubt they both understand that such 'help' could change in an instant of one or the other saw advantage in it. "Let us begin, then." Sianga lets silence reign for a moment, solid gaze not leaving Ausi for the moment. "What is it you wish for now, beyond aid when the time comes?" Name your price, young lion. "There are places here that you and she," he nods to Sekhmet, "may reside peacefully for a time, where the fools of Kivuli do not go often. They've their own problems right now, however, so there is little chance of them straying upon you, much less knowing who you might be."
Weupe has been quiet, so far yielding to Siangamika's lead. What does she wish of this? He isn't sure, but he's unwilling to break contact with Ausi to find out just yet. He might lose something by it, though he can't quite think of what that could be. He has a family, a mate and cubs, to consider in this, and it's enough to make even the Barbary a bit nervous to think of what Ausikifa might be capable of should he find out and try to use such a thing against him. So he cannot yield now, not until this encounter is settled.

The cards are down and now the bets are up.
Interestingly enough, Ausikifa never figured that he would actually get this far... let alone with the possibility of some rather dangerous assistance behind him. He's no master planner, however much he might try and lead others to believe, and he's going to have to tread very, very carefully for a while yet. Still, the proposition of enacting not only revenge on the pride that murdered his father, but to possibly taste the flesh of their 'Queen' between his jaws is one that's worth the gamble.
As far as his desires, he hadn't much thought of that besides the muscle he'll need when the time is right. When Siangamika produces information of safety, his most pressing concern is pushed aside; good, he didn't feel like bumming it on the border for any longer than he had to. The barest hint of a satisfied grin ghosts across his muzzle, but it fades quickly and leaves the lion with a rather blank stare directed at the Barbary. His ears lift from his tangled mane, regarding the two lions in front of him with some emotion akin to a fervent hope leading to blood retribution mixed with a giddy caution. Hmm.
"Hold fast to your convictions, son of Ronan, as the boundaries start to blur. My protection in these lands are second, I doubt the Kivuli would be able to find me... let alone begin a search to do so." He pauses a moment, pursing his lips, idly wondering how delightfully spiteful Siangamika could be with his trespassing; but something inside him is confident enough that the Barbary feels little more compassion for the Kivuli than he does for the Mbaamwezi. For now. "You're more interested in the Mbaamwezi, no longer my father and no longer me; I am not Seth, nor are his blood prices mine." That said, the adolescent lifts his head in an attempt to be equal with Siangamika, his ice blue eyes staring into the eyes of the son of darkness. Mwaha.
"There is no peace without war, and the blood war against the Mbaamwezi will not be a short one. Information is to be gathered. Lions are to be gathered. What I expect is that my back remain unshadowed, and that your claws will not find their way into it." Ausikifa grunts, lips curling slightly, "Though only a fool would hope to get what he expects. Our relationship is a tenuous one, son of Ronan, you know that as well as I do. When the blood of the Mbaamwezi is spilled, then perhaps we can discuss other terms. For now, my information and your... contribution," he nigh on sneers, curling his tail delicately around Sekhmet's paw behind him, and licking his muzzle with the prospect of a delicious fight far on the horizon, "will lead to a mutual desire." He takes a breath as if to continue, but the adolescent only manages to let it out in a slow, shallow breath. He rolls his shoulders, an impatient gesture, but something is making his skin itch and, surprisingly, it's not a fear of Siangamika.
Ausikifa dares to tear his eyes away from the Barbary, beyond his lioness and into the grasses deep in Kivuli territory. He's not sure what it is, but his attention lingers there for longer than is normal... like Ausikifa could do anything normal... and a slight grunt is given. Something is there, little does he know it's his sister, but he's a little too preoccupied to go treasure hunting. His brow creases, his eyes little more than slits as they ooze back across Weupe to Siangamika and issue a long blink.
"There is no wisdom without regret," he finally manages, his voice a low, rumbling whisper that the night threatens to swallow, "and both sides have gained wisdom this night; remember this, son of Ronan, for in every chase there is the hunter and the hunted, but when the prey is found, what does the hunter do then?" That tidbit of oh-so-glorious wisdom seethed out from between his teeth, Ausikifa falls quiet (much to the jubilation of all gathered), the only movement from him behind the subtle eye shifts toward the grass.

Sekhmet isn't such a pushover that she would let something someone 'use' her.. But then Zira did that rather often, another reason why she hates that lioness. Her paws are dirty with the blood of others while zira did a lot of the calling oh who did what an who went were. Her gaze watches Siangamika, her's has no emotion though as if one might look into a mirror. She will have to make sure not to trust that lion, or anyone else who happens to live on this land, she can't take that sort of chance at the moment because she really enjoys living.
Her gaze drifts over to Weupe whom she watches a few moments as well, she can't say she knows that lioness, an isn't sure why she would. Though the other looks at her as if trying to figure out whom she is, as if anyone here would know that a feline who enjoys killing is now upon there lands. There's something Sek will have to get use to, can't haul off an kill someone as this isn't Mbaa anymore.. Le sigh.
She looks to Ausikifa, tail slowly flicking while she listions to the males, she has no reason to speak as there doing enough talking for the four of them really.

She remains silent the entire time, tentively pressed against Siangamika's back haunch. Aqua blue eyes are focused intently upon the adolescent male an his companion. Sekhmet receives no ill regaurd, however all aggression is shot towards Ausi' with one simple heated glare. She'll retract the claws soully to bend to Sianga's will plus getting revenge on Mbaam' is all too sweet a deal to pass up. Ears rotate fowards and behind as she listens and subconciously stores all the information said between the two lions.
Sianga' doesn't have to worry about her, or their cubs. Weupe would give her life for her children, and she wasn't some simple lioness to take down at the hint of a cut or tare. Weupe was a part of the original Mbaamwezian generation. They weren't just push overs, and she would never be if she had anything to say about it. Limbs would be severed before harm came to her children.
Whatever decision Sianga' makes, Weupe will back him 100%. She lurves the big lug. <3
- Meanwhile, Xipil freezes as Ausikifa's attention begins to shift towards the grasses. She'd been slinking foward as the conversation had continued, she had afterall perfected the art of stealth and silence. Scooting around Kivuli undetected was an art for her, she's done it sence she was little and first arrived. Not to hide anything, but simply to stay out of others paws, out of their paws so to speak.
Now, staring into the eyes of her brother, Xipil gets the first spark of courage she's had sence she struggled to follow Kivuli after the flood to live. The lioness pushes herself out of the grasses, ebon gaze fixated on soully Ausikifa. Her features are emotionless, ears pressed back, blond bangs hanging beside almost black eyes. Ebon dipped legs stand steady as she watches, engulfed in silence until finally, "Ausikifa... brother." Dun dun DUUN.
-- Weupe's ears flicker as she turns to reguard the voice behind them, fur standing ridged along her spine and neck. Wtf. Xipil is taken in with wide blue eyes. That's one of her babysitters, one of the unofficial lioness running around Kivuli as Weupe calls them. The alabaster female stares confused for a second, gaze snatching from Xipil to Ausikifa and finally to Sianga'. Brother? Seth had more then one kid?

How well he puts it. A deep chuckle issues from the Barbary, teeth flashing like that of a darkness itself in glee. This situation has the feeling of a torrent, rushing, swirling, taking its victims down and up, again and again. Yet it feels absolutely delectable, like claws etching their way down his spine and sides. His jaws click together after a moment, teeth still bared in the same sort of grin. "Indeed, Ausikifa," he intones, not deigning to use 'Son of Seth' in term. It might bring back the urge to show his claws. "It is tenuous as you say, but I cannot think of any reason to not agree to those terms. You are not your father, and I've no qualm with you. No, not if we're to trudge this path together." The Barbary bows his head slightly, the smile he holds adding only the barest traces of mock in the gesture. "We are agreed; my claws will not seek the flesh along your spine, and, if it is in my power, there will be none here that will try." An unsteady promise at best, but what good would it do Sianga if an ally as useful as Ausikifa will no doubt be was to suffer some misfortune at the paws of those fools in Kivuli? Afterwards, perhaps, all bets may be off, although Siangamika has little desire to extract any price from the younger lion. Yet. They've only just begun this tenebrous partnership; there is plenty of time yet to find a reason. Still, all Siangamika wants is to extract penance from whoever stole his revenge from him, and then, to remove the plague of Zira's pride from Mbaamwezi, where his family had called home before he set off to fruitlessly pursue Seth. "Let it stand as it stands now, then," Siangamika drawls after a moment, lifting his head again. "I'm sure you c-," he begins to end the 'barginning' when another voice catches in the conversation, a so far unknown voice. Unconcerned, Siangamika turns his muzzle just a bit to fix Xipil in his sight. He turns his head as he feels Weupe shift against him to look at the white lioness, brow raised. Clearly the same thought is on his mind, though he remains impassive. Turning once more to face Ausikifa, he chuffs, "It appears you might have more than one ally in these lands, unless I'm much mistaken." Which, in fact, he could be. OOC: Yea, I know, I said last night. x.x Got home after dinner and started feeling woozy so I just went to bed. But! Here it is this morning an' I promise to get another post in sooner than I've been lately.
