This wasn't meant to be a rush. It's just been over a month since this was suggested, and after waiting for everyone to confirm that they wanted to be involved this round, I figured it was high time the participants at least knew who they'd be drawing for. There's no explicit time limit, and I never intended to set one by drawing the names.
And as for the character thing, that was mostly a poke at Unzumi, who, to the untrained eye, doesn't appear to have any current characters on the MUCK. I had to poke her into adding her wiz character on Meadows to her signature there as well. XP
Oh, y'think so, hunny?
Well, I happen to have five active characters on Sunrise at present, so tpppth ^^; I just haven't gotten around to putting it in my signature. *skulks* I'll.. go do that right now.
And Annie, I didn't even remeber that we would sort've have to post descs of the character we'd want drawn. *belch* Totally didn't occur to me. Eheh. So, are we doing that now, or did Zi' already send out mails? *checks her email and message board mail* Nothin' there... did you muck mail, or summat?
*wracks brain* Ehehe, I'm confuzzled.
Edity: Alrighty, I just checked my muck mail. I'm all good now. And, now that I've paid closer attention to Annie's post, I shall now post a couple of character descs'. Woo. Ignore my over use of commas and adjectives, pwease :> Also, I apologize if the lines get all screwed up. I intentionally format my descs a certain way, so transferring them makes them a bit screwy. I tried to fix them as best I could, but they're still a little buggy on the board.

Time has carried on, and with it the life of this once young, innocent lion. He has grown, that much is for certain, with half barbary blood flowing, pulsing through his veins and a decendant from a long line of massive kings and knights, this one carries his lineage both proudly and well. Clearly, the male has taken
both his size and his coat of fur from his father Ronan; the barbary knight. A deep earthy brown covers his frame, save for a rich cream that envelopes each of his toes as well as his muzzle. As if his stature was not enough to identify him with some of the Kivuli of the past, there is one dominant feature that most
certainly does. The male's mane is a heavy, wild array of thick fur, flowing out in almost every direction. Long and thick, yet still managing to feel silky smooth to the touch, it frames his face and nearly covers his ears. It travels down and around his neck, arching over the tops of his strong shoulders and then cascades down his chest to end very near the middle of his stomach; the barbary line runs heaviest here. The colors, though, conjure up ghosts and remnants from the past, with an overall shade of the brightest gold that is marred with streaks of crimson that flow downward to end in points as if he had been dipped in blood from the moment he was born.. Those colors forever hang down across his face, obscuring his eyes from the outside world except for when he wishes to be seen. He, however, can see through to the world quite well.
In the rare moments in which the male allows his visage to be free of those ever present bangs, attention must be given to a side of him that many under the sun have never, and may never, see. While his bulk and coloration has come soley from the paternal side of the family, the most delicate, graceful features have been given from the maternal side. His eyes, like the African sky after the rains have come, are a simmering gray that harbor both love and a dark, family history. Compared to most grown males, his face is smaller, more round and softly defined giving him the look of a gentle giant. So much of his mother, Kieleaji, shines through when the ghost of a smile cracks his ebon lips but most of the time that emotion is kept locked away for only his most beloved; his family. Even though time and wisdom have tempered his life, there remains a darker side to this tale buried and locked away behind those glistening, silver optics. The blackness that has plagued portions of the Kivuli line found yet another host in him when he was but a boy, and though experience has taught him to conquer a dangerous foe, every locked door still requires a key. Behind this quiet and simple soul simmers a blacker life and one that this male knows he could have ended up living, and may still...

Born to both light parents, the male has inherited a pelt of luxurious cream, so pale and soft that he could be mistaken for a frightening apparition under the moonlight. Along his back there lies a series of small, white spots, like freckles, that meander across his spine and down around his hindquarters to end no lower than the middle of his back legs; a gift, courtesy of his father. That same white appears only once more upon his body, rising up from the base of his nose to end in a point, like a diamond, in between his eyes. From his mother, a stark contrast of color finds its way onto his body in the form of the deepest black that surrounds each of his toes and fully encompasses both his ears. All ready, his mane is becomming thick and luxurious, a beautiful ebony that clouds his brows and hides his ears, while the ends fade into a silky gold, the same holding true for the tuft at the end of his lengthy tail, as well as the fur upon his elbows.
Within his eyes he holds a look reserved only for those who have seen what no one should ever see. Behind those frighteningly deep blue orbs, so dark that it is a constant struggle to be able to see the irises, lies a knowledge that no one should have. Because of this, his face continually harbours a look of sheer arrogance, one that could kill an angry cobra; a steady, unyeilding glare without even a trace of a glimmer. Knowledge is power, and power corrupts.
Jitujeusi: He's a dark brown leopard, by the by
A large darkness. Is such a thing possible? Under the night sky, he would be nearly invisible, hidden high above between the branches of a tree. A lengthy and tall creature, this rougish male harbors a coat of the deepest earthen hue, almost as black as the moonless midnight, and the rosetta spots of his species find themselves visible only in the brief flashes of perfect light. That coat is immaculate, groomed to a silky perfection and rippling over his massive, well built frame. His tail is long and thick, his paws wide and powerful, his claws sharp and deadly. The near ebony leopard's neck arches boldly and yet gracefully skywards, his high brow sloping to meet an equally midnight nose and quivering whiskers that frame a grinnig muzzle. Around his face, his peltis lengthier than the rest, giving a rougish, near-charming appeal to theotherwise quiet midnight leopard. His eyes, a thick, honey amber. He is Jitujeusi; the dark giant.
And for a challenge, Unzumi is always up for grabs if you like drawing the psychotic. I don't have an original description of her, but the very best drawing ever done of her was by Ewali, like, ages ago
'Tis here: (http://fanart.lionking.org/Artists/Kristin_O/Unzumi.jpg), assuming she doesn't mind me putting the link to it... *beam*
