Hey. Sooooo.... yeah. Several of you are aware that I was involved in a 6 car pile-up back in February that resulted in the complete and total death of my car.... And a lot of you also know that I was just able to buy a new car (an '02 Dodge Neon SE that up until today was red and beautiful and sparkly-looking) last week... And I was rear-ended about three hours ago driving home from work (by some IDIOT teenage girl driving her daddy's SUV and wearing no shoes because I guess she's just too cool for shoes) and while my F-ING NEW CAR is not TOTALED this time, it has sustained some pretty extreme damage to its poor little mutilated backside. I'm okay so no worries there, but I do forsee spending a lot of time over the next couple of days under the influence of pain killing medications and muscle relaxants, so I may or may not be really conscious. Aaaaand... I'm working a veterinary assistant job downtown that requires my presence accident or no accident (bosses are so rude.. wanting you to actually WORK or something... seriously, down with bosses) -- SO YEAH! Really I just wanted to let everybody know that I'll probably be tied up for the next couple of days with ten hour work days and phoning the insurance people and getting my car repaired and I'm really, really sorry for whatever inconvenience this causes, especially with respect to the Tyne and Amara people because of both upcoming TPs. I don't think this whole ordeal should take very long - maybe a week or so, and I'll probably be around off and on so I can still be reached.. I just probably won't have enough focus to be able to RP that much. That's about it. I'm sorry, guys. People are stupid and don't know how to pay attention to the road. Also, everyone should be wearing shoes when they drive. -- Elim'

Anyway! Take your time and relax! MUCK probably won't be back up 'til Saturday or so anyway.. and since there's still RP for Gwazli's people to get done, we'll have time t'take get Waset back t'Tyne when you're able t'RP. n_n
ALSO.. I sent you a PM here, dude. Did you read it?! D:
But I'm glad to know you're not terribly injured and stuffs. But that sucks about the stupid girl with no shoes. :/

Omigod, why didn't you kill her? I mean, seriously. If I had been you, and that had been my car -- that girl would've been dead before the cops even arrived. I would've killed her with my bare hands. Lots and lots of blood, and lots and lots of pain. I'm not even kidding. Not only because she effed up my car -- but because anybody who's THAT stupid and inconsiderate doesn't deserve to be alive, nevermind operating an automobile.
I say you sue her. But I'm a biatch like that.
Anyhoo! Yessum, take as much time as y'need getting yourself together. Muck prolly won't be up till Saturday-ish, so .. y'know.
And you can still kill the girl that hit you, y'know. You got her insurance information, right? Go to her house and bash her entire body with a brick. <3

I almost got hit today...some stupid woman thought it to be a good idea to back up in a tiny lil car from around a huge SUV...I couldn't see her and she was only looking ONE direction. I don't know about most people, but I check out both directions behind my car constantly before backing up despite which way I'm going.
Anyways...my lil rant. I hope you feel better! Sue her donkey...or her daddy's....

XD I got all her insurance crap and ONE way or another (via nice, tidy settlements or violent, aggravated assaults on my part) these people WILL be paying for all the damage done to my car. The bumper's shot to hell, the right quarter panel's bent up so that the back DOOR can't open, AND my trunk's all screwed up and we can't open IT either. Clearly, I must kill these people. And stupid people who drive SUVs SUCK. Mind you, that's not EVERYONE who drives an SUV .... just the stupid ones.

I drive with no shoes. o.o; It's a lot safer than having your 3" clogs slip and get stuck under/between/behind the pedal. Or getting your flip-flop caught under it while the thing is still attached to your FOOT. I've almost gotten into accidents THAT way. Then again, I'm not a stupid teenager and I don't drive a land tank. She was probably talking on her cell phone, too. I hope her parents tore her a new one! But yeah, that really sucks getting hurt in an accident, or just getting INTO an accident. Hopefully, you haven't sustained any long-term injuries that they don't even know about yet, like rupturing discs. >_< Or anything crappy like that! Hope things get better for ya. :/

Don't worry, Zi', my older brother drove his '95 Neon right over a curb and nearly tore out the bottom of the whole car... and he's still got the same car ;P Of course, EVERYONE in my family has a Neon. Myself, my brother, my mother, my sister DID have one until her husband asked her to get a new car since Neon's have a terrible saftey raiting (she's not happy with her new car at all!) My dad's the only one with a truck ;P And, surprise, surprise, it's a Dodge Ram. Who knew?
Yeah, my family's... special.
While we're trading stories, a few winters ago when I was a senior in highschool (jeebus, that's almost four years o.o *feels old*), I slid into a snow bank in the middle of a hill with the butt of my car hanging in the road. In the process of calling my dad, a BIG SUV comes sliding around the same corner I did, and wham. That's whiplash, I'll tell you, especially since I was looking backwards at the time. -.-;; Turns out, the people who hit me lived two houses down and gave me a ride home while I got towed o.o I didn't get my car back for FOUR months while the winners replaced a single rear quarter pannel.
Fun, fun! Snow + Neon = Awful driving experience.

Car accident stories! I.. just posted mine on Lilymud the other day. XD CopyPaste!
April 2002.. my senior year of high school. My best friend Sara was driving.. I was in the front passenger seat.. our other friend Steph was in the back behind me. We were driving back out to the school because Steph had afternoon classes.. and we were pulling out from Steph's apartment complex. We had to drive across 3 lanes of west-bound traffic. Easy. Sara stopped at the median, made sure that there was space for us to pull into one of the east-bound lanes and started to pull out. All of a sudden, Steph yelled from the back "A car!" Next thing I know, we had flipped back over the median (into the west-bound lane). The car - I forget what it was.. some sort of small SUV thing - landed on the passenger side (which means the road was right out my window).. and the roof of the car was facing the oncoming traffic. I just remember thinking that, ohmyGod oncoming traffic won't be able to stop and they'll hit the roof and we'll be in trouble. I dunno how long we sat there - it seemed only like a second, so I must've blacked out for a few seconds - but suddenly these Air Force guys were there and they pulled us out from the driver-side window. Luckily, the car had landed in the turn lane.. so the oncoming traffic was able to avoid us. We'd been hit by this huge Lincoln Towncar and the people had been speeding. They hit just a few inches in front of my door (hit where the front passenger-side tire is). Just a few inches back and where they would have hit might've crunched in on my legs. And, luckily, none of us were hurt much (a few bruises.. I went to the hospital so they could look at my elbow and it was fine). What's interesting is.. Steph said she NEVER wore her seatbelt. But that one time.. she put it on. We can only imagine what would have happened if she hadn't been wearing it.
Only been in one since. The day before Easter this year. I was pulling into a gas station and some idiot in a huge SUV didn't see me. Backed right into me. The hitch on the back of his SUV caught in my tire and tore the wheel up. That was the only damage, though, and he paid for half of it. I was still annoyed that he hadn't been more careful.. and that he blamed ME for speeding through the parking lot (which I was NOT doing.. I was actually going SLOW because I was about to pull up to a pump). >_> But anyway! Those were mine. XD
And my first and only (so far) experience with icy roads.. also my senior year. I went over the rail road tracks and hit the road on the other side and nearly went sliding. I had to CREEP into the school parking lot. And once out on foot.. I had to SKATE across the parking lot to the school because I couldn't walk on the ice! XD
I've also semi-hydroplaned before during a huge rainstorm here about a year and a half ago. Someone pulled into my lane suddenly and I slammed on my brakes to avoid them.. the back end of my car went slip-sliding. @_@;

Oh the stories...I have...
At 14 with my permit, I didn't know my step dad's car's gear shifty thing was screwy....it somehow shifted into reverse at a light. I backed up into the lady behind me. A stupid license plate cover was broken and she acted like I totalled her car. Cost my dad $20.
At 16, with my 1 day old bronco 2...There was a short cut down this small two lane road between two major ones, downside is the end I was heading towards had no lights. So I stopped, me and my friend both looked back and forth since we were entering a 4 lane highway with the speed limit being 45. Having to cross two busy lanes. Well it was clear, one vehicle coming and that had it's blinker on and was beginning to turn into where I was. From behind that, a mini van came flying out of somewhere, never did figure out where, going about 60...I t-boned it going maybe 10mph as I was just starting to go. Totalled her van, $500 damage to my new lil suv. No one was hurt.
At 18 I had a 2500 Chevy pick up, single cab. I was fooling around in a completely empty parking lot with about two feet of fresh snow. With two friends...There was (illegally) a small concrete block in the snow that I didn't see, slide right into it. Bounced my truck right up onto it, took us 2 hours, two smaller trucks to pull mine off. In the end it wasn't drivable. Screwed up the axel pulling it off. In those two hours a friend decided she needed to go to the hospital with a concussion that was making her dizzy. In the end, I got a ticket for fooling around in the parking lot, but the business who removed the light post from the block was supposed to place something tall enough to notify a driver of such a thing or remove the block completely. So they paid for the damage to my truck and my friend's hospital bill.
At 19...my bf flipped that truck. (I still hate him) We were going up a narrow road to the top of a mountain outside of Anchorage, a stupid woman was in the middle of the road coming around a blind curve. We swerved to avoid her, but it being gravel, we hit one ditch, to recover we came back on the road and spun around to hit the other ditch that was deeper and rolled to the side. I'm still waiting on the $2500 he owes me for the damage I had to pay for.
I've seen my mom back into someone at Taco Bell, that was great, she had been complaining about my driving IN taco bell less than 10 mins before. My friend Monica backed into her garage, I got hit by a deer. Yes..the deer hit my car, not the other way around. Umm There's more but yeah..
Other than that and the occasional near hits...I'm good. Oh and well...the stupid stuff I did like getting stuck in mud, snow...stuff like that that didn't involve major damage if any.
Lots of things I've seen but wasn't involved other than witness...hehe.

I love all the stories. XD Just as an update: got in contact with the insurance company of the girl that hit me, and they're stepping up to pay for not only ALL the repairs on my poor car, but also they'll pick up the medical expenses (I had some whiplash and crap so it added up to two doctor's visits and some prescribed painkillers), plus reimbursement for any time I had to take off of my jobs, PLUS a certain percentage that is apparently for 'my inconvenience'. Soooooo... Yeah. I think everything will be fine! ;D
Stay safe, e'rybody!
